hi, I wish to highlight to all future employers not to hire this 24 yr old Indonesian maid who is still single called Nyai who is born 23 May 1990. WP no. 0 08199310. She is from Bandung Indonesia. She has skin allergies problem on her body, feet and legs and she is a hairy person who has lots of hairs on arms and legs and has body odour. She is allergic to cleaning agents like bleach and Look laundry washing powder. She is not suitable to be a maid as she has itchy rashes on her body and feet when exposed to this cleaning agents like bleach and laundry washing powder. She did not declare that she has allergic skin when she comes to Singapore to become maid through the recommendation of the maid agency.

She will complain that you future employers did not take care of her welfare if you did not bring her to see doctor for her skin problem. She is not suitable to be hire as maid for taking care of infant and toddlers as she has itchy skins and can pass germs of your child. She wanted to apply doctor eczema cream for itchy body and skin morning and nighttime. She should not apply any doctor cream in the morning as she is constantly in touch with the toddler daytime as she needs to feed and bath toddler and she is upset and unhappy if u tell her not to apply doc cream in the morning.

She also has many pimples on her face as she has v oily skin and also like to apply pimples cream morning and night. I am ok if she applies pimple cream nighttime but not in the morning and she can be stubborn and refuse to listen at time. She is quite slow in her general housework and not multi- tasks and can screw up if you assign multiple tasks to her. She likes to request to go out to buy snacks for herself to eat frm supermarket and end up come home in 2 hours time if you let her go out on her own to buy snacks.

Send her back for her own sake. People with skin conditions are very pitiful and cannot work with water, cleaning agents, allergic to many things.

If you still want to keep her:
And cannot let her apply doc cream which is steroid in nature, harmful to your baby, get calamine lotion for her. Bathe with Pinetarsol. Goto Nat Skin Center Pharmacy, request for items that will give relief to itchy skin and the people there will show you what you need.

Jts, pls do not hire this person and pls spread e word!!

Chit Pwint born 16 Sep 1991 (WP: 0 93628454) cancelled since 8 Aug 2015 Overstayer (Mynanmar)

We were informed verbally by MOM & Police that we should buy air-tix to repatriate her when her police case ended on 23 Sep 2015.

We wish to do our part to repatriate her. However, we do not know where she is. She should be considered an overstayer as of now. We would like to know what does ICA /MOM/Police do in such instances?

We emailed MOM & Police daily since 23 Sep 2015, no replies on this portion. So we intend to email ICA to see their response.

The most concern is our Singapore security and law system. Is she still legal in Singapore? Where is she now? This scares us Singapore citizens to know how insecure we are and vulnerable to these foreigners? Quote: murder of 83-yo woman and fire at Serangoon garden by Mynanmar FDWs.

If she has a police case, I'm sure you would have to surrender her passport to the POLICE and the police would have applied a special pass extending her stay till the case is over, since her WP has been cancelled. The passport will be held by the Police until investigation is over. After investigation, there is a NO CASE, MOM/POLICE will contact you and ask you to buy repatriation tix for her. Once someone assigned by the POLICE (can be agent, social worker or you) made sure that the maid boards the plane, then MOM/Police close case.

If she runs away and hid herself, without the knowledge of the POLICE/MOM, without her passport, our efficient system will sure hunt her down and penalty for her will be severe. Would she be so dumb? No passport how to escape?

The likely possibilities for police/ MOM to keep mum are
            (i) they already let her work for another employer in singapore,
(ii) she is currently staying with agent/HOME on special pass, pending looking for a job
(iii) She is currently staying with agent/HOME, on a special pass, pending a charge against someone. 😓

Hi all, I think I really have no luck with maids. Changed 3 over a span of 2.5 years.

First maid:Philippino can’t get along with my mum
2nd maid: indon. Too young. Actual age is only 19 instead of 26 as reflected in her passport. She lied during interview abt her age and that her previous employer did not give her hp and off and that she doesn’t require it. After her loan period has passed, she turned into another person, demanding phone and off day. We gave her hp but end up getting more issues etc. Finally decided to send her back home as I could not tolerate her rudeness and bad attitude.
3rd maid: fell sick after 1.5 mths of working. Sent back home
4th maid : current maid. Efficient worker. Worked only for barely 2 months and she told me she don’t like to take care of baby as it’s busy and she would like to take care of elderly!??

Aren’t you aware that your job scope is to take care of babies?! What’s being said during interview abt how u like kids and have no problem with babies are all lies. I’m so so disappointed with her given the fact that I have treated her to the best I can. Never reprimand her at all. Even close and eye to things / habits she has done that I don’t really like Ie snacking in her bed at night…

So problematic these maids! But sad to say I need to depend on one. Anyone can any reliable maid in babycare and cooking? (Finishing contract soon or has completed contract and wish to return to Sin). Please help!

It is definitely (ii)! She is at HOME!! Cos we found her picture on HOME Facebook timeline photo 2 Oct. She is in black dress with orange tie with make up on! But how can they give her special pass to stay on? Someone told us that once police case is over, special pass ceases! And how about our 5-month loan?

When the case is ended, and the outcome is a NON issue, you would have been informed.
When the case is ended and the outcome is to charge someone, you would have been informed.

If she overstays, HOME is responsible since they took the passport. If she has to go home, MOM/Police may ask you to pay for her ticket. If she goes home by herself, not your problem anymore.

Your only worry is to know if you have been charged or not and what to do if you are. If you are in the clear, you have no more worries. Why bother about what she is doing at HOME, unless you have to Pay and pay for her daily food allowance........ :gloomy:

Problem is there is no black & white that says its no longer our problem?! Instead, MOM verbally mentioned that she is our responsibility till she is repatriated. If there is, we might not have minded & moved on with our lives. Instead, MOM made our lives even more miserable by barring us from hiring new FDW when another MOM officer verbally told us we can go ahead hire new FDW despite on-going police case.

Someone even suggested post an ad for missing person to locate her so we can fulfil our responsibility to repatriate her.
Also, sadly what happens to our 5-month loan? We paid 7-months loan for her and she only worked 2 months for us.

I can understand your frustrations. Why don't you make a trip to MOM office and demand some answers from them? Why don't you make a trip to the agent and ask the agent what you should do with the 5 month loan? Especially when you are kept in limbo and don't know whether to engage a new maid or not. You should go and see an MP. Write to the papers.
