The Huttons team has been camping out at the linkway between Bishan Junction 8 and the carpark over the weekends (Sun), marketing Thomson Impressions. The team would mention "near Ai Tong". I will probably be viewing Thomson Impressions and compare it with Thomson Three (which I understand is 100% sold) and see if the property is competitively priced in this current market…

I love Chancery but maybe out of reach if $5mil-$6mil.

The advert for the chancery hill villa is totally MISLEADING

with a site area of 30,000 sq ft divided into 15 units, it is impossible for each unit to have 5000 sq ft built in area. The advertised $psf of $916 or $742 is likely based on gross area which are not according to URA plan.

Looking at the floor plans on the website, it is definitely much smaller than stated. Comparing the width of the staircase in the house to the respective room size, definitely each floor plate is very small. Typical staircase is one metre width.

The floor size usually includes the 2 car park lots plus sky garden.


It is for this reason that DH refuses to consider. The actual footprint (ie the land that the house actually sits on) is usually quite small. Effectively buying airspace.

For this price, our preference is to buy a landed where we have ownership of the land.

Hi, would appreciate if someone can tell me more about the landed properties in Thomson Garden Estate and MacPherson Garden Estate? I'm very curious to find out why so many owners are trying to sell their properties in these two areas. Are there any specific reasons (e.g. near expressway, construction etc)
