Think you should have received info via snac Liao. I kinda browse thru so this is what I remember.
Y1-4 no sch.
Y5&6 per normal. But lesson ends at 1pm & those without exam tomorrow need not go.

The results of admission into year 3 IB are out. Has there been a reduction in the number of students admitted to Year 3 ? Any reasons ? Does that mean the cohort size of IB students in ACS(I) will be smaller than previous years. Does anyone have any news :?:

I heard fr ds none fr 2.5 to 2.8 got in. I don't know if that is the norm.

Just curious. Do the students have to take tests for the selection? Or it is based on results/daily work/observations?

Usually about 80 - 90 students get into IB from the Express stream, I think. But this year the numbers are much lower. If no one got in from 2.5 to 2.8, that is quite unusual actually.

Not true that none from 2.5-2.8 class got into IP next year. In fact, one of the class has approx 10 students accepted for the program.

On average what proportion of the kids in O level programme applies to get transferred to the IB programme? And on average, what is the \"success\" rate?

I ask this to get a feel - if the kid gets admitted to the O level programme, what are the odds of him eventually doing the IB programme?
