sent overseas. child couldn't cope with IP. the mother is a tiger mom sort.

But her score 276 is very good. How is it possible to not be able to cope?

refused to study. parents got called up. still have tuition but can't manage.

My cousin barely studied for PSLE. Got 262. Sec 1 to Sec 4 dunno got study anot but keep failing. After poly, went overseas for final year University. Next year will officially become professional

Actually hor, there's a down side of attending elite schools.


A relative's daughter scored 241, not enough to go back NYGH. On the other hand, she did not wish to accept neighborhood sec schools. So went to international school. Same for someone I know from SCGS, cannot meet 220 cut-off, ended up going to international school. Not sure is it due to a particular mindset or what.

SJI (international), $20K+ a year.

So whether IP schs are suitable for the students or not, there is no confirmation.

I thought locals are not allowed to study in International schools even if you have the $$$$.

So far feedback on the international schools is quite positive. Many went in actually had decent t-scores. Very small class size, dedicated teachers, overseas field trips to visit Cambridge, Wall Street etc. Most importantly, less stressful than Singapore schools.

These are 6 year course as well? Same subject/ grades criteria like A levels results which are used for university admission?
