So the JAE intake could be 200-250 -
Hi, pirated,
Thanks a lot for useful information. -
Anyone know how many RA students are accepted for each subject? My daughter said that there were very few (<50) taking the tests. She found them hard, so she thinks she has no chance. She didn’t take RA in Yrs 3-4, so she’s probably at a disadvantage, anyway. At least she can see how much she doesn’t know! I guess they are really looking for a small no. of the best?

No advantage from having RA in prior years. Every qualifying student is assessed on same basis via the selection tests. The RA cohort is very small - largest I heard on a single subject is around 30. Some are less than 20. Not all who are offered will take it up due to various reasons. -

So about 1 class each? I know they are all assessed on an equal footing. What I meant is that those with RA background probably know more! Anyway, it was a good eye-opener for her. We'll just wait and see.slmkhoo:

I think is one class, as it seldom a hit more than 30 per subject
Mostly +/-20
