      phtthp:
Does NJC open up \"on-demand\" O level class : for those who struggle with IP curriculum, by the end of Sec 2 ?

      No.

For further enquiries, please check with the school directly.

As long as the child pays attention in class, does the assigned homework diligently, gets consultations with teachers to clear up doubts on time, the child should not struggle with the NJC IP curriculum.

If the child signs up for 3rd language which is conducted outside NJC or has other outside CCA commitments, then parents ought to pay attention to time management skills, esp if school home distance is already a concern.

On top of the above, whatsapps is used among the teacher/students and among the students as a form of communication.

There will be going to be lots of nonsense wa communication among the students initially. Do monitor closely.

As far as I know NJC started from a JC then now they decided to open for Sec 1 onwards. So opening a O Level is very unlikely.

Only school like Cedar Girls Sec, Nanyang Girls High, MGS, St Nick CHIJ, etc… yes they have O Level classes to fall on and need not transfer to any other school.

School like RGS, HCI, they do not have O Level classes. If students unable to make it, they really have to find another school to accept them.

          Hope my sharing helps.

Can anyone share regarding AEP? What happens if the student finds it too demanding to cope?

Is your kid in JH1? My dd was selected for the AEP . She has a passion to draw and do arts but I have never sent her to any art classes .
In JH1 , her total score GPA was pulled down by AEP , I ever asked the tr whether can drop but she reassure me that she will enjoy as that does not limit to drawing .
True enough , in JH2 and JH3 she enjoys the lessons so much and her grade improve ! Till now she told me AEP is fun !
              Do not give up !

That is my dd view ! 😄

                      Was at Bibi Baba today.

Now they have size 26 pants for JH3 to SH2 boys.

Smallest shirt size for boys is still size 13.

There is no sample available for trying on for the boys JH3 to SH2 uniforms.

Instead, can try the ACS(I) samples (the staff advised they are same cutting).

Thanks for the info! My dc is thin but very fussy about how clothes should fit. Now I can buy the uniforms earlier so that I have more time to alter them. 😛
