Answering for jtoh - I think it's the Humanities Program. So there must be a lot of people on the scheme these days? In the early days, in a different JC, there were just 2 classes of us, and mine only had 12 students!gardenia64:

The subsidy rate is very low. iirc is around 10%, can apply for financial assistance

Financial assistance is only for those with below-median income, right? Such trips are still quite a strain for those who don't qualify for assistance but whose family income is not high. -
