Which are the possible location to drop the kids instead of driving into the school? Which are the gates for kid to enter?

Ideally intend to settle fast so that could hit back to Bishan Street 11 & head towards CTE.

The school only allowed entry level handphone? Are they refering for 2G type?

            http://www.sji.edu.sg/students/conduct- ... handphones

An extract from the above ....

            Use Of Handphones

A handphone is not an absolute necessity and for many students it is actually a source of distraction. So, when in school and during curriculum time, a student does not need a handphone.

In keeping with the school culture of solidarity with the poor and voluntary simplicity, the administration strongly advises parents, if they wish their son to bring a handphone to school, to purchase for their son only a simple ‘entry model’ phone, i.e. do not purchase a state of the art phone with all the latest features. This will minimize replacement costs in case of loss or damage.

              Assembly officially starts at 725am.

Entry level handphone means as low capability as possible. The less the phone can do, the less the boys will be spending time on it. (meaning don't buy him iphone 6). My son used Nokia phone at Secondary 1

                  Either one is fine.

                  We’ve used both.

Just want to check any of the kids is taking HMT in SJI? By taking HMT the child is it have to take the O level paper at Sec 3? Once this is completed does it mean Year 5 do not have to take Chinese anymore as in the IB phase.

Lastly if the child could not perform to the performance requirement, any option to drop & taking back the normal MT?

I assume your child is is IP ? Hope slides 15-18 helps.

I believe the IP child only take 1 MTL exam which is a common practice in most IP schools. They either do the Express O Level or the Higher Mother Tongue at the end of Sec 4.

If pass the Higher Mother Tongue at Sec 4, still need to choose a Group 2 Language subject to fulfill the IBDP requirements.

Basically can switch back from Higher Mother Tongue to Express.

How many triple Sci classes are there in Sec 3?

After obtaining IB, will there be any disadvantage for admission to Medicine field as compared to a student with A level?
