      ntnl:
      Jennifer:

Bibi Baba has an online uniform ordering system.

      http://www.schooluniforms.sg/index.php?%20...%20id=4188976

Thanks for the info! My dc is thin but very fussy about how clothes should fit. Now I can buy the uniforms earlier so that I have more time to alter them. 😛

When I was there, there was a mother and child (from a primary school) who tried the sample sizes for a long time. In the end, they opt for special order - customised size.

You should call BiBi BaBa to enquire.

I had my boys uniforms shirts altered (because the sleeves were too long = touching the elbows and the sides were too wide) at those neighbourhood shops, the alteration charges was 1.5 times the price of a new shirt.

Btw when the boys outgrew their school pants at the waist/buttock, I sent the pants for enlargement and save money in buying new pants.

        Hi,

My ds wil b in njc nxt yr too. Fyi, few days ago we went to bibi n baba to gt his uniform. As what jennifer had posted, we gt to try on ACS uniform. The shirt is abit too long at the sleeve bt the bermudas fits him well with sm allowance for ‘expansion’. However, when we reach home n try on again, we found out the actual njc uniform size is slighly smaller than the ACS. Now my ds shirt fit nicely n his bermudas was too fittg. I will hv to go bk n exchange for a size bigger.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

We requested to try the NJC uniform once we confirmed the sizes at BiBi BaBa. I wanted to be 100% sure.

Its my mistk, i didnt think of trying our njc uniform on the spot , thinking that it shd be the same as ACS.

Btw, i hv a few queries, hope sm parents cn help …firstly, my ds glasses has transition lens, is it acceptable in njc? Secondly, abt the ipad, any idea if 16gb memory is enough? Are the kids relying on ipad heavily? ie doing all homewrk, reading notes which are all loaded in n etc. So i assume there will b no txtbk or notes given out physically? Lastly, does JH1 school holiday same as the jc student or the norm secondary sch kids?

If I am not wrong, 2015 JH1 was the first cohort to use iPad.

It will be better if you check with the school again during the orientation briefing.

About the school holidays, I am not sure whether NJC JH cohort is the same as other mainstream sec sch (never compared in the past).

We received the notification via school LMS, official start date is 11th Jan. Should be same for all IP cohort of NJC.

No idea about other IP sec sch.

JAE cohort start date not advised in the notification.

Hi! I heard from someone that some JH activities require compulsory parental participation. Is that true?
