We received the notification via school LMS, official start date is 11th Jan. Should be same for all IP cohort of NJC.

No idea about other IP sec sch.

JAE cohort start date not advised in the notification.

Hi! I heard from someone that some JH activities require compulsory parental participation. Is that true?

I am not too sure which level. I heard that the father went for a canoeing activity with his daughter bec it was compulsory for a parent to pair up with the child. I was surprised to hear of such things too. I always thought schools only encourage parental involvement, but not making it compulsory.

                  moonee:
I cant help much but my dd now in year 3 ended the term Oct 31st She will be in year 4 next year and njc normally start sch later than other schools. Next year she will start on 11th jan16 šŸ˜„

Tks moonee, if she ended the term on 31 oct, then their sch holi is the same as other secondary sch kids. If im nt wrong those in junior college just started their sch holi tis wk. So i guess njc yr1-4 wil hv the same sch holi as the secondary school and nt follow the jc sch term.

                    Jennifer:
When I was there, there was a mother and child (from a primary school) who tried the sample sizes for a long time. In the end, they opt for special order - customised size.

You should call BiBi BaBa to enquire.

I had my boys uniforms shirts altered (because the sleeves were too long = touching the elbows and the sides were too wide) at those neighbourhood shops, the alteration charges was 1.5 times the price of a new shirt.

Btw when the boys outgrew their school pants at the waist/buttock, I sent the pants for enlargement and save money in buying new pants.
Thanks a million! Yes I will customise then. My dc is fussy even to the extent of the tightness of the socks, the clothes labels must be completely removed...

šŸ˜‚ same like my elder boy.

He worn his JH3 uniform all the way to SH2 because new ones are \"itchy\".

As for socks, I have lost count how many types I had bought and he did not like and had to pass to either myself or the father to use.

I suppose your dc has sensitive skin?
