New minister at the helm. Will spread out intake to neighbourhood schools. May see more 240s to 250s end up in neighbourhood schools..... :rahrah:
wonder what the new minister is planning...but i think he will need some time to work it out since he is new on board...perhaps next year's psle results will give him some ideas to fine tune.
98.3 per cent of the cohort qualified for secondary school but 66.2 per cent are eligible for the Express course, down from the 66.4 per cent last year

Absolutely ok! :congrats:My DD 263+2 with EESIS scholarship
Our choice1) NYHG, 2)RGS, 3)NJC, 4)DHS, 5)MGS, 6)SCGS
Is possible to get offer from NYGH or RGS? Is ok for the arrangement of choices? -
Thanks for sharing and confirming on this, LKT.
Well done for this top scorer of 270, representing Woodlands Pri. -
How do we know whether the kids is entitled to EESIS? Is it show on the result slip or application form?

Hi,
I need help in putting in S1 option. Can someone please advise ?
My daughter scored 258 and her MT is an Indian language. I do understand that this year's COP may be higher, I'm wondering -
1) Should we still give RGS (COP : 258) and MGS IB (COP: 256) as our first and second choices ?
2) We would prefer a girls school. Can you please advise if following options seem to be reasonable. Are these options a bit too optimistic ?
1. RGS (COP:258)
2. MGS-IB (COP:256)
3. CEDAR-IP (COP:252)
4. Temasek JC-IP (COP:249)
5. NJC-IP (COP:254)
6. SCGS-IP (COP:250)

Congrats to your DD on a great T-score.
All the schools you have chosen are superb schools. The only thing I'd be worried about is how close the schools are to each other in terms of COP. There is only a difference of 9 points (258-249) between your choices! So if by some freak accident , all the school's COP rise by more than 9, than your DD might end up in a school she has not chosen ...tho I think that scenario is rather unlikely.
Have you also considered whether the schools would be a good fit for your DD in terms of culture, distance from home, CCA options, etc? Becos that would determine her happiness in the school. -

It's indicated on the green option form. -

I read from one of the post earlier saying that this year’s COP may be higher, is this real? My son score 264+2 and is it still very safe to enter RI or Haw Chong? Any advice on this. Thanks.
