Hi mallowhuman, since school posting is purely by merit, the placement of choices is not critical (unlike old times), if your DC likes TJC, no harm trying.

Per my DD's memory, she only went back in 1st week of June as there was a CCA camp. Similarly so for Nov n Dec holiday, only went back in 1st week.
