      Is the options below okay?
      1) RV
      2) BP
      3) Swiss Cottage
      4) 🙂
      5) 🙂
      6) 🙂

Most of her friends are either going NJC which she cannot enter or Swiss Cottage which is her 3rd choice...

If you list the above as your top 3 choices, you can just put a smiley face for your 4th, 5th and 6th choice.
There is nothing to consider after Swiss Cottage if your daughter t-score is 252.

Ok thankss 😄 So its safe/better to put RV as 1st choice then BP as 2nd?[/quote]RVHS COP is consistently higher than BPGHS.
Other than to fill up space, it won't make sense if you have BP as a choice behind RV.

Can I ask for advice? My DD got 252+2...
May I know if she is eligibility for 3rd Lang inclusive of French/German/Jap etc?
Trying to establish the lowest t-score of top 10%.

Can I ask for advice? My DD got 252+2... Her friends all got either 260+ 270+ or 230+240+... Haven't heard of anyone who had gotten similar mark as her yet...Should she go River Valley High or Bukit Panjang Gov High? I heard that this year's cop for schools will increase by 4-5... Is RV or BPGH a better choice?

          RV vs BP
          IP vs Non-IP
          SAP VS Non-SAP
Further a bit VS nearer a bit
          Risky VS not as risky
( because I heard cop will increase by 4-5...)

          Is the options below okay?
          1) RV/BP
          2) RV/BP
          3) Swiss Cottage
          4) Kranji
          5) Commonwealth
          6) West Spring

Most of her friends are either going NJC which she cannot enter or Swiss Cottage which is her 3rd choice...
You can consider Nan Hua and SCGS too. She can take LRT to CCK station n MRT to Clementi, also should have buses to Clementi for Nanhua. She can take bus 700, 190, 960 etc or the new downtown line 2 to SCGS, short travelling time and very convenient. Both schools have good track records, only thing SCGS is independent school, school fees is higher.
Allocation of schools is by merit. You should put the school with higher cop as first 2 choices if she wants to go ip. She is almost.confirmed can go to BP, so unless BP is her dream school, else you do not have to put BP as first choice.

My DD scored 259+2, is there any chance for HCI and DHS? Looks like the overall Tscore is higher this year, hard to estimate the COP…

DHS is possible but HCI may be quite tough. But no harm trying. Just list your choices in descending order with reasonable gaps in between.

You may also try River Valley High.

How come the reporters are giving different scores?

                2015 Woodlands Primary School 289 249 Kiasuesue
                2015 Woodlands Primary School 276 - squishybuns
                2015 Woodlands Primary School 270 - LKT

                2015 Yew Tee Primary School 291 230 B120015
2015 Yew Tee Primary School 272 218 Parokh

What I know is the top scorer for Woodlands Primary School gets 270.

Zhangde Primary, a girl got 272. But not sure whether this is this highest score.

Dont worry about whether there is any chance. 259+2 is a very good score. Alllocation is by merit. Just 敢敢放 for 1st 2 choices. Even if you miss by say 1-3 points, you can try appealing and chances of success are higher if the school is placed as 1st choice. You just need to ensure remaining 4 choices are of schools with a reasonable range of historical COPs lower than her T-score.

p.s. If DD, she cant go to HCI. Are you referring to NYGH?

Congratulations, 259+2 is a great score! If it's HCI you are referring to (instead of NYGH- since u indicated DD), I would say you stand a good chance. Cos seems that EESIS cutoff is 262, and based on previous years' HCI cutoff being around - 2 to 3 below EESIS cutoff, then with 259+2, HCI is certainly within reach, or stand a good chance on appeal. Put it as 1st choice. Good luck!

                        Is this really true?
                        Example:
If there are 2 pupils choosing the same school.
One put it as first choice.
Another put it as 3rd choice and did not get the first 2 choices.
If they have the same score, will they have the same chance to get the school or ...?
