Three years have passed since that question and I'd just like to thank you both for your invaluable information. I'm now I'm my third year of education in TK and honestly - I love it. I'm so glad I did not try to appeal to other schools as well in an attempt to get out of TK. The academic life is challenging but you do reap the benefits as well. I'm going to be awfully sad to leave TK next year because I've spent the best three years of my life thus far here. Regarding my distance issue; I've since moved nearer to school since my parents felt that my proximity to school was more important that living in queenstown, which had nothing left for us anyway since I'd graduated from primary school. Once again, thank you for your gamechanging information and insights!

Hello, I’m considering selecting TKSS as a choice school for my son for Sec 1 next year. I’d greatly appreciate feedback on what the school is like in terms of culture, environment, teachers and any information you deem useful for a parent who is new to this school.

I'm in a similar dilemma as you right now. And just out of curiosity:

1. Did your son's appeal to AHS went thru?
2. Which school did he continue on, AHS or TKSS?
3. Which was your first choice in the option form? AHS or TKSS?

My Son's result is 237, and AHS cop is 239... So I'm not sure if it's worth taking the risk to apply.

Any sharing is much appreciated.

TKSS is a good school with rich history and good culture. My son is studying there and Sec 3 this year. He enjoys studying there where the teachers is helpful and most important, he has a lot of good friends there. I am sure your son will enjoy @ TKSS. Cheers…

I am providing transport service from punggol/sengkang to TKSS or TKGS. Payment from jan-may and jul-nov. June and dec no need to pay. full payment every month is required even though the kids absent from school. Pick up abt 6-615am and reach sch abt 6.40am. Mon-fri will pick up at the same time even though wed is a late hr sch day. PM me.
