I wonder if the existing students who dsa (sports) are coping well given the amount of training (more intensive nearer to competitions) committed ? Will the teachers provide make up lessons for them?

Quoting from one of the FAQ for Sec 1 parents this year : \"School will continue to support an O level class if there is a need.\"

              • To say, currently there is one O level class for weaker students ? Wonder to help them go back to IP or O level preparation, anyone knows ?

                It's for O level preparation.

At the end of Sec two, girls who don't meet the promo criteria will be streamed to the O level class and they will be prepped for O level exam at Sec three and four.

Understand that Yr 1 students can choose betw e-book or hard copy print for Sci (Biology & Chemistry).

                  * Which is recommended or more widely used in NYGH?

                  * For those who choose e-books, the girls will bring their own iPads to sch? Is the e-book compatible with iPad2 WIFI?

Anyone can advise on print or ebook option?

Btw, heard that teachers hardly use the math & sci textbks. Is it true? If yes, is it ok not to buy?

I just checked with dd and she says notes are given to students and these are what they use in school. In general, textbooks are more like your own reading materials.

I got for dd the hard copy, so I don't know about the compatibility with ipad2.

Btw, the ipad 1:1 programme only starts from Sec 2 unless you opt for TCC classes in Sec 1.
