Hi All,

Anyone can advise me where can I find a portable modem to surf internet? Or what is the cheapest way to access internet and get yourself connect with the love one in Singapore when travel in Japan?

      Buy from Qoo.

      search Japan sim card

You can also rent one from Changi Airport.

Currently on promo, SGD 8 per day for Japan.
I second floppy' recommendation. Used that for a short trip 2 weeks ago and it was great. For longer trips, you can consider getting a local data card like Iijimo and your own phone to hotspot.

Mr Han Fook Kwang Editor at Large, shared on sake:

        http://www.straitstimes.com/lifestyle/t ... isite-brew

It is quite nice drink and I tried it at Nada Sake district near Kobe.
At this district, there are lots of sake brewery and some offer free tasting of their sake.

                Review by the couple:

Thanks to Dimitri_can for the great effort despite my last minute request for his help. The trip went smoothly as planned with no time wasted. Every minute is used wisely. haha

Despite only exactly 6 days to cover Hokkaido, using JR Pass with no self drive, we managed to cover Asahikawa, Hakodate, Otaru and Sapporo just by following Dimitri's itinerary.

For those who don't drive, I recommend taking JR Train rather than buses as it save time but a bit more expensive.

With June Lavender season approaching, it is good to go 7 days so that the extra day allows you to travel to Furano and Biel.

Once again, thanks Dimitri_can for your effort

Hi, will be spending 4N in Tokyo after returning from Hokkaido. Thinking of doing a couple of day trips to Yokohama and other nearby areas. Maybe the train from Narita to hotel, and hotel to Handea as well. Is there a JR pass worth getting? Would really like to experience the Shinkansen. TIA
