Hi. I am considering applying Maris Stella High school for my son. Can someone please tell me what time do they start school everyday? Thanks.

Normal day is 7.30. Thursday is 8.45am.

After reading some of negative posts from parents here, I am contemplating whether to select Maris Stella as his 1st choice now.


He got a score of 244 for his PSLE, but he is keen to move on to MSHS (with affiliation) since some of his classmates are going there too.

Dilemma now…

nope. you can mostly tell by the amount of students that take the MRT home instead of a car or taxi

1.Do You still use cash card/flash pay to pay for food
2.Do you still need to wear your PE shirt under your Uniform?
3.you can just buy Mac book from the school and is in package form?

Probably it is easier to buy MacBook in school.
If you buy from outside, you will still need to pay to the school vendor to configure.
If you want to customize your MacBook, you can email the vendor.
Which MacBook models are they offering this year?

You will be given a temporary name tag for use during 1st few weeks.

I told my mum I want the lightest MacBook. So was planning to look at MacBook Air.

School will provide the temporary name tag and also the name tag.
I think the actual name tag was given after your orientation to you by your form teacher.
If you need extra name tag, you can order from book shop.

This year did Maris offer only MacBook Air only and not MacBook Pro?
MacBook Air will be enough. Lighter and longer battery life.
