Happy the we get to see who else from the same pri Sch were posted to DHS.

We were told that they will post the class allocation on school website on 2 Jan. ya, terrible long q at the uniform and PE attire section. I got my DH to go and buy the books when it was the PSG talk so as to best the crowd. After the level head (or was it year head, I can't remember), many parent started leaving to go buy books or uniform. So many until Dr Foo had to stand up and ask the parents to better stay for the admin part as admin manager was talking abt payment of fees.

Hehe...guess that everyone knew that it would be super long Q...so better leave early to Q for it...

Yr DD Get to know her class alrdy ? (In the past, yes, but understand it has changed...Only get to know later date, via emails or sch website)...

Class allocation will be released on the 2nd of Jan.
We decided to avoid the crowd and left after the talks. Will get it done next week.

Well, I got my uniforms and books on 22 Dec…1 day b4…too kiasu and kiasi liao…lol, so it was stress free for me.

DHS this year COP is pretty high at 258…comparable to NJC, RI and HCI…well done…no wonder they are among the top 5 JC in Singapore. However, comparing to RV…it COP has been at the lowest rung for quite few years now…is it because of it location or other reason?


Seem like the new IP JC will have a tough time catching up with the top 5 if their COP dont improve. There is definitely a co-relationship between the COP and A Level performance.

It is partly due to the school has cut down the vacancy from 400 to 360 for this cohort, that's what the prinicipal mentioned during the open house and 50% had been taken up by DSA.

In general, the lesser the vacancies left after allocation through DSA or affiliation applications or both, the higher the COP under the PSLE S1 phase.

It is disappointing that there is only one school vendor selling the PE attire and has not stocked enough for the yr 1 in take. It really made the parents waste lots of time try to chase after the shirt or shorts.
