Need advice from parents with children taking MEP in TJC. How is the workload and is the lesson conducted after school hours. My DD wanted to apply for MEP. Understand that this is considered a subject and the commitment is throughout the 6 years IP program once get in the program.

Hi Taurus, how heavy is yr Acer 14 inch? As I am trying to look out for a light one with weight less than 3 kg as my girl will take public transport to the school together with the weight of the school bag, try to keep her load below 6 kg...

Hi! I was posted to Anderson Secondary School but I appealed to Temasek Junior College and I think I may have a good chance of getting in. However, although I have done my research, I don't know much about the school as I did not manage to attend their open house . Is it really compulsory for every student to take higher mother tongue? What time are students usually dismissed? Are students really stressed? How are marks awarded? Any answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi, laptop is compulsory, think HCL also compulsory as booklist dont hv normal chinese textbook. Dismissal etc not been advised yet, only for first wk is advised.

A rough idea of ip1 dismissal time in 2015
- mon 4pm
- tue 3pm
- wed 1pm but have cca till 3++
- thu 12nn
- fri 2pm but have cca till 3++
No need to go back on sat.

Stress level depends on individual students. Generally environment not as stifling competitive as cohort size is small.
