Btw, will you all be getting the 11 or 13\" macbook? Initially I tot of 13\"...but after checking it out just now, 11\" looks good enough. Smaller, lighter... nice for daily use if they need to bring to school.

Probably personal preference here. But will be buying the 13".


With the additional insurance options. Most probably from Sapura as they have the on site pick up and drop off support. I think we use that a few times when first boy’s MacPro had issues in school.

The insurance previously for first kid macpro was on loss or damage I think. Cannot recall well. Maybe did not activate the insurance but he did sent in for tech support/repair for a few times.


I remembered that there was a talk given by one of the teachers on the Mac book usage. He mentioned that every year a few boys will lose or misplaced their Mac book. Which at that time prompted me to get the insurance.

My DS is also posted to Sec1F, non-affiliated, taking HCL.

He knows he is not strong in Chinese, never taken HCL in primary school, but he knows and is prepared to put in LOTS of effort and passion into learning HCL.

Same as my son...non-affiliated, HCL. He's a bit concerned that there are so many from the affiliated pri school... hopefully they can all mix well

For my son, Chinese is actually his weak subject , but he has come to accept that there's no running away from this subject. Let's hope that \"head knowledge\" of this realization will be passed on as a conviction in his heart. Otherwise, it'll be a truly uphill task.

Would like to ask if anybody DS taking the Mac Book pro this year I am really tempted to change my order from Mac book air to the Mac book pro as it have Retina display and bigger ram and the price difference only $253 if order from Sakura not sure if okay with the school?
