Q1. Intend to go Tokyo but flying by SQ to Haneda is getting expensive nowadays, so I am thinking of flying via Delta or ANA to Narita , which ends up much cheaper. However, from Narita, I am not sure should I take the NEX train or should I take the Keisei Skyliner to I kebukuro or not. Ikebukuro: Go for round trip NEX, it would be more worth it.
Ueno: Go for Keisei Skyliner.

Q3 Suica card : looking through the various transport linessssss really gave me a big headache. So if I get a SUICA card, will it be fuss free to move between the lines if I intend to go to places like Asakusa(Sensoji), Kiddy Land, Nakona Broadway, Disneyland, Odaiba .

It will be fuss free, but you might end up paying more. E.g if you are taking more than 4 trips in 1 day, then it`s better to go for Tokyo Subway Ticket. So it`s basically convenience vs $$$.

Q4. I am also quite keen to go Gotemba Factory outlet, hopefully to catch a beautiful view of Mt Fuji .Heard that if lucky enough, the view of Mt Fuji can be quite clear. And also do a bit of shopping and eating at Gotemba. However, I did hear feedback that it is really not so fantastic and most of the time, one can hardly spot Mt Fuji. Can anyone advise on this as well? :siao:

My previous company has a contract with Gotemba Kan (just opposite Gotemba station)and stayed in Gotemba Kan before.

When the sky is clear, you can get a bird`s eye view of Mount Fuji from 8th/9th storey of Gotemba Kan.

So your main purpose to Gotemba is for shopping or to see Mount Fuji or both? If for shopping, there are other better places to shop than the factory outlet. Also, going Gotemba is not that accessible, unless u go via bus (about 2 hours one way)

Definitely did not pay so much. I must have been lucky. My mistake, $50-60 was when I took to Shangrila at Tokyo station from Haneda, about 5000+. I was with my Japanese friend. I did not pay. He did. He told me 5000 plus. From Shinjuku was a bit more but not that much. I paid a fixed price which my hotel arranged. The hotel and driver must have like me a lot...hahaha No where near 8000-9000! I think around 7000.

Short summary about the article:
Direct access to Hokkaido from Tokyo, Hokkaido Shinkansen (bullet train)

Hokkaido Shinkansen will be opened on March 26, 2016 between Shin-Aomori and Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto. However this line is connected with Tohoku Shinkansen at Shin-Aomori. Many of trains run through Tohoku Shinkansen to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto from Tokyo. You will be able to get Hokkaido from Tokyo directly by this Shinkansen train.

However Hokkaido Shinkansen will be partial open. You can get southern Hokkaido only. You still need to transfer to get most of Hokkaido. such as Sapporo. And also Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station is not located in downtown of Hakodate. You need to transfer to get Hakodate.
