Now… Where can we get the booklist for p3? I received the date that bookshop is open…but would like the booklist to review and check what i have (hand me down) and what i need to purchase…

You could check it with School Admin when you enquire on the bus transport to fill up the form etc. They should have a readycopy of the booklist on hand

ALPS does not have PV program in the past few intakes. The strong support from parent support group was cite as a reason during this year’s Dialogue with School Leaders session for not having this scheme.

Things to Bring on the First Day of School

Pencil case with pencils, ruler, eraser and sharpener
Coloured pencils
Water bottle
Story book
Lanyard with name tag provided during Primary 1 Orientation (For Primary 1 students only)

Remember to wear school tie/bow on Monday!


School Hours
The new school year will start on Monday, 4 January 2016.
All students are to be in school by 7.30am.


Parents induction/Briefing on 04th and 05th Jan
There be a briefing for parents on both days, followed by a peep during P1's 9.15am recess time before we leave


School Bus
Bus coordinator seemed to be contacting parents from today. Please keep an eye/ear on your mobile etc. lol!
After receive bus route, please write on Lanyard if child is taking school bus home

P1 for mine! I am already getting sleepless nites, feeling nervous but yet looking forward to my child's 1st day of formal schooling tmw! Really reminded me of that sleepless weekend months ago awaiting phase 2C's balloting outcome!

Neighbours and friends have assured me that the kids will be in good hands. I just hope that the school bus will turn up as planned tomorrow!

Morning parents… Back from school yet?

I didnt know that gates are only open at 7am…

Was there with dotter at 6.45am… Lol

But i had to get to general office…my dotter doesnt have a class yet.

And so… Got her class… Go to parade square… Im nervoous…though she is in pe…its a new school for her…

Met up with P, Mrs Lim…

Talked to a teacher - Ms Tan Lydia… She seems fierce but good…
