Can anyone pls share with me how do you know the numbers of those registering for sc<1km at phase 2c ? How to monitor the latest no, is it from moe’s website? I am preparing for my child’s next yr registration and looking at those earlier threads, im totally confused.

The MOE website is only good to see total applicants vs total vacancies. It will be updated at about 7+pm/8pm daily

For breakdown by distance, have to call school or go down to the school to ask personally.

I understood from friends who have been thru P1 exercise in various schools previously, that there was this whiteboard stationed near registration table detailing the distance breakdown by SC and PR which will be updated at regular interval.

But this breakdown on whiteboard (if it is provided by school) wasnt seen in the primary schools in Bukit Merah for phase 2C this year. Not too sure why.

I m in a dilemma over choosing a sch which im in phase2a and another one near to me but in phase 2c. And with so much drama created with APS, im getting nervous already.

If you plan to register in phase 2c next year for APS, your chance will be good if only you are within 1km. But frankly, no need to get nervous now. Enjoy your honeymoon while you can. U still have a year to go.

The good news is that you have one year more to decide if you ok to give up the secured slot in 2A and go for adrenaline rush of 2C

There are a few schools in this area that traditionally do not require a ballot in 2C under 1km (since you'd mentioned the school is near to your place).

If your choice of school in 2C is one of the schools, you'll be fine

Application for Parent Volunteer 2016


The application for Parent Volunteer Scheme for 2016 for Radin Mas Primary School is open from 04.01.2016 - 31.01.2016. Application form received after the closing date will not be accepted. The school will contact the applicants on the status of their application by 31.03.2016.

The Parent Volunteer Scheme 2016 is for Singaporean/ PR child born in 2011.
