      Hi Ms KC,

I am a fellow parent and would like to help you. The name tag needs to be above the west spring logo.

      Hope it helps.
      Hi tenko,

That's very helpful. May I also check if the name tag can be sew on the school's grey jacket as the material seemed to be different from the PE t-shirt?

      TIA. 😂

        Hi Ms KC,

The name tag is just for the PE attire and the uniform. I would suggest that you just sew a small name tag on the label of the jacket below the inside of the collar or even just write your child’s name on that label.

My daughter brought the books to be handed to the teacher today. (I follow the annex from the letter) but the teacher never collect the books? So must I bring it again tomorrow or follow the annex in the letter?

              Hi aurora07,

I’m a fellow parent and would like to help you. I would suggest that you bring the books tomorrow again and follow the annex in the letter as well. You could always write a small note and ask your daughter to pass it to her teacher to ask the teacher what books are required.

              Hope it helps.

Thanks for replying. Today and tomorrow books will be more than 8 books plus music file. And have to follow the timetable too? That would be quite heavy for the child to carry.

                  Hi aurora07,

I understand how you feel. You may wish to telephone the school and ask them for their advice.

I did call up, just waiting for them to call me back with the reply. Thanks a lot for replying. I appreciate it 😄

I also have another question. I understand that the school teaches the child to be independent. But my daughter was quite lost this morning when she came to the school. From what I know from the orientation, the child is supposed to go to the classroom first, put the bag and bring a storybook to the hall. Is that the correct way?

                        Hi aurora07,

the next few weeks will be a new experience for all the new students to primary school. West Spring teachers will help your daughter adjust and get used to her new routine.

My child is in P3, which may me differ from the other levels. I would suggest to write a little note to the teacher and put down a few questions or concerns that you may have for them to reply to. You can also log onto MCONLINE and participate in the parents’ forum and ask the school any question. The school promptly replies on the MCONLINE forum within working three days.

I can assure you that your daughter is in good hands and that her daily routine at school will become easier and more familiar to her as time goes by.

Wishing her happiness in her new school.
