yup.
although my son is supposed to be off my radar, i still have to pay attention to what he's doing. after all, he is only 16. have to remind him to pace his revision and not get burnt out. 救命啊，两个 :frustrated:

my daughter lost her science textbook...my pals are here upper block 'energy'. hubby went to IMM and Westgate but it is no longer available because 2004 kids are the last ones using old syllabus. what should i do?

I have a spare copy of my pals are here 2nd ed energy.

I don’t really find the textbook useful. Do you really need it?


Whatever information that is inside can be learnt from reading the reference books and doing assessment books.

actually we know the text book is not helpful...but the teacher is going to start 'forms of energy' using it.

Not helpful but sometimes teacher might ask yr child to bring to sch. Janet, my ds & yr dd same yr. 2nd ed is the old syllabus bec my p4 girl using 3rd ed. If u still want it, u can collect fr woodlands or i can mail to u. Just pm me.

I didn’t buy some of the textbooks actually. Told kids to share with classmates during lesson and take notes where applicable.

asked her to borrow classmate's book to photocopy...daughter told me the teacher said no borrowing is allowed.

Happy New Year! A new school term has started! May all our kids enjoy school and new challenges!

1. Just want to quickly check, my daughter is in HMT. Does anyone know if we still need to buy assessment or past year papers for normal MT? Or focus only on HMT?

2. May I know which secondary schools will she be able to opt for given that she has extra points for HMT?
