Hihi, looking for parents of 1i3 boys to start a whatsapp chatgp. Anyone interested may pm me.

May I know when do the boys start to learn Biology ? Is it in Sec 2 ?
Thanks,
CK -
They do cover some bio in Sec 1/2, but the school does not recommend buying the textbook, in case the kids decide not to pursue it in S3/4. Although my son also bought the O level texts for Phy/Chem in S1/2, he barely touched it. The school gives very good notes which are sufficient for exam purposes.

Can I ask a question? in an earlier thread within this forum, someone mentioned that other than iSparks consortium, the rest of the pupils are randomly distributed into different consortiums. However, it seemed that ProEd may have the most classes (if I am not wrong), is there a reason behind it?
Also, are DSA students also assigned to a particular consortium instead of mixing with the others? -
afaik, dsa sports students are assigned to certain classes. In 2014, there was one class in Aphelion and one or two in ProEd with some (not all) DSA Sports boys. Someone mentioned Malaysian and Maths Olympiad boys are also housed in certain consortiums. According to the school, it makes it easier for them to schedule make up classes for the boys that skip school due to competitions.
there arenโt any classes that are made up entirely of DSA Sports students. -
