Hi lostbunny and bunnybluey,

Thank you very much for the reply and info. Will be looking forward to the briefing. πŸ™‚

Fyi, briefing is this Sat, 9 Jan. For p1, starts at 10.45am.

I am disappointed to receive such important information through this forum. I share the same questions with many parents here like the coin phone availability, school tour etc

MBS is not a new school and I have high regards, possibly is there a change in management or pic of p1 orientation?

Anyway, looking forward to the briefing. Can I know what to expect this Saturday? :lovesite:
You might want to check with your child in the school. He/She should have receive a letter from the school publishing about all these detail. You need to read the letter in order to know the different timeslot to meet the Chinese and Form teacher.

Both my children get it on their first day of school.

For mummies for P5 this year, any idea what calculator to get for Math? Thanks in advance.

Casio calculator is more popular. I bought from bookshop.

My P5 has came back with this information at the beginning of this week and we need to acknowledge the letter. If your child is in P1, suggest that you prepare a folder for the child where he/she can put in those communications from teachers. Then make a conscious effort to check it in the initial period till they can be trusted to share the information independently.

I bought this one too. It was used by DS1 during last year's PSLE and now I am passing it to DS2 to use. DS1 continues to use his old calculator.

My son already in P3 this year, so he will automatically inform me what he has received from school, what need to be done, homework, etc, as he had already gone through it for 2 yrs. However, when my son was in P1, I had to check his bag everyday, see if there's any circular or notes written in journal. I prepared a L shaped plastic folder & asked him to put in all circular, loose sheets of homework, etc, it helped him to organise his stuff & for me to refer/check.
