Mine is at woodlands cc, p1 too. So far no spelling lei. Maybe only the teachers at galaxy cc give spelling.

I agree with Wesim. With good knowledge of Vocabulary, it does help to write much better compo. However, every week got spelling. I find it may be a bit stressful on both kids and mom.

I agree with you on the spelling part. Schools have spelling and ting xie. I wouldnt want to stress my kids more with additional spelling. But it really depends. If my kid is weak in spelling, maybe additional spelling is good.

ds was there when he was at P3. We stopped after a year. We realised they used lots of bombastic words and phrases that's I think it's beyond his level. Subsequently I sent him to a tutor, ds continued to use such bombastic words/phrases in his compo which she also disagreed.


by the way, he never had spelling when he was there.
