this is tiring man … since July CTs until now, my kids have been taking different exams at different times with only short break here and there. Feels like I’m taking a 5 months long exams. Pungchek already.

My girl from SCGS is very happy. Secured 7 points before bonus points. She thought she will not fare so well. She prefers ACSI. I prefer RI which is nearer home. Please advise.

RI COP for Science is 3 n Arts is 4. I am not sure about ACSi - is she looking at their IB prog?


What is her nett L1R5? If it’s 3, it can be a 50-50 chance to enter RI.

What’s her chances of getting into NJC or VJC?
As she scored a B3 for English, does it affect her application to enroll in either of the above JC ?

yes, nett L1R5 is 3 points. The whole batch of girls seems fascinated by ACSI. She find IB interesting. Now, with this result, i am thinking RI is nearer to home, and what a waste not to choose RI since this was her ideal secondary school RGS when she was in primary 5, and then switched her interest to SCGS when she was in primary 6. No concrete decision on whether taking sciences or art/humanities.
