For existing P customers, refer a friend and get $400 TAKA vouchers. For new P customers, it's $200 TAKA vouchers, not $1000. Only if the P customer refers a few customers then can get up to $1000 TAKA vouchers!

      heee...not bad liao lar
if you got extra $ . open one Priority for your hub u got $400 taka!
I am existing Std C , but not putting all eggs in a bank too, i go for

I dislike the idea of putting all eggs inside same nest too! I don't mind to park my money in another bank that offers slightly lower interest rate but no no to put everything in same bank.

Just thinking aloud... if the stock market continue to crash and US halts the increase of rising i/r (projected for next few quarters), end of 13mth, then we may not see any significant rise in FD i/r. In fact, i/r may even drop as money flows out of stocks and shares to the old and trusted (and safe) FDs. :scratchhead:

          Augmum:

Am also eyeing at the 1.99 %... But havent decide to go for 13 mth or 18 mth...since the difference is so little..would prefer to take up a shorter tenor...
          Augmum,

Called HLF, this morning, they revised the rate for their 13mth FD from 1.92%pa to 1.87%pa. 😢

May be more worthwhile to go for the CIMB 12mths FD @ 1.85%pa with 4 cans of New Moon abalone then.

I am just wondering why is the saving account interest rate still at 0.05% pa? This is quite unfair actually…maybe it will change soon…

Already I am seeing adjustment but it is with criteria, for example
              1. OCBC bank. They have a "bonus+saving account" scheme which pays 0.8%pa interest for minimum fresh 10K deposit and if you don’ withdraw on that month…

              2. Also notice that DBS has a multiplier account scheme. If you bank with them with the account with a minimum of $7.5K per month, the interest is up to 2% pa for the balance in the account.

              etc…

I am still with the POSB passbk.
They seem to pay the lowest savings int rates.

Who offers the highest FD interest rates for short tenors?

Some of these maybe refering to the saving account you already have with them...so maybe no need to open a \"new account\"..but I am not sure..need to call them and ask. Maybank one is definitely refering to your existing saving account with them, just send in new fund and meet the criteria and you'll enjoy new higher interest rate...
