Past-Year Secondary/O-Level/IP Exam Papers

I am also looking for Sec 1 Express papers with answers. For all subjects and schools. Preferably 2015 and free download.

For IP, best to ask your child to get the papers from his/ her own school as each school has its own syllabus and focus, so it is unlikely the other IP school papers are relevant - unless they are affiliated like RGS n RI or Cedar n VS.


4 possible sources: 1) ask from seniors esp. those in the same cca, 2) enquire at the school library - some schools keep copies of past papers in the library 3) check school learning portal - my fren whose son is in VS told me the school’s past year papers are available for downloading and printing from the learning system 4) request from the respective subject teacher

Please be careful about asking exams papers for your child in the lower sec (Sec 1 and Sec 2) even in the non-IP schools. This is especially for subjects like Science.

The reason is that there is a variation of standards that the school will teach - according to the school SOW as well as the department. Some more \"progressive\" schools will want to cover greater depth or greater width in line with their school's plan for the students.

It is not like Primary 5 / 6 where other school papers will help. Your child may end up doing questions that have not been taught now or will not be taught at all in the papers that you have purchased. For example - some schools decided to take the O level Biology topic of digestion or Forces or thermal transfer in Physics or atomic structure in Chemistry and
teach them in Lower Sec Science. This is to ease the teaching workload when they go to upper sec.


However, in Sec 3 / 4 when they are preparing for their O levels, then the topics start to converge and aim towards the common goal - of covering the O level syllabus.
