Dear Tracy,
Thank you for sharing the Whizmeal programme and the benefits.
Please give us some time to explore the feasibility of Whizmeal programme.
I will touch base with Mei for further clarification.

HI to all parents …

Hi, my sweet little things,
The teacher in charge of softball is Mr Ho. I like how the students get a \"workout\" so that they feel re-charged for a day of learning despite Friday being the last day of the week!
It is certainly great news to hear that we are going to have a new vendor in the canteen! Do you have any idea what food will be made available? While it will be nice to have a more \"colourful\" selection of food, I am not too overly worried about the food issue.
Recently, I happened to have a chat with the vendor selling Dim Sum. Apparently, their food supplier is \"Hara Hong Kong Dim Sum\". What was interesting was that the BAOs contain wholemeal flour. Also, Tou Fu was added to the Siew Mai and brown rice was added to the Fan Choy. Hence, the texture of food seen in this website: http://thehalalfoodblog.com/hara-tim-sum-kitchen/
I sometimes wonder why the school creates a joint recess session for the Primary 1 and Primary 3 students, even though we have just 2 canteen vendors. Surely, the school is aware of the long queues that may arise. On hindsight, I think the school thinks it even more important that the students have their recess at the \"right\" timing, i.e. not too early or too late. Instead of the easy way out (which is to stagger the recess timing for every level), the school chooses to deploy teachers to help out in various ways during recess. Some help to ensure children plan ahead by reminding them to take out their money first. Some go to the stalls and help the vendors to collect the money. Teachers also help to put up the notice so that children learn how to sort utensils and cutlery.
These small acts show me how hard the school works to help our children, despite running into a little bad luck with finding of vendors. I am honestly very touched because this school cares enough to make the learning environment the best that it CAN be. :imcool:
As for the Whizmeal programme, I know the school leaders are open-minded and will make the best informed decision... :boogie: -
hi, sorry i didn’t scroll back to check if this has been brought up prior…
Any feedback regarding the current student care provider? My kids are not quite happy there and I am wondering if i should look into pulling them out from it.
Has anyone feedback to the school/student care? -

Dear Tracy, please be informed after exploring it was evident that the Whizmeal programme provide balance diet and nutrition but we also discover there are plenty of food wastage.
The Whizmeal portion is quite a lot for our student to consume and hence there will be plenty of food wastage. The good news is we are getting a new Chinese food stall operator after CNY.Hope this will serve the children a balance food diet.
Wishing you Happy Chinese New Year.
Regards.
