          FD interest rate is going down for SCB.


          6 mths tenure - 1.52%(standard) to 1.55% (priority banking)
          12 mths tenure - 1.62% to 1.65%
          24 mths tenure - 1.75% to 1.78%

                  Was looking at ANZ 1.88% pa for 10 mth FD last week but too late, ANZ revised it downwards to 1.80% pa.

                        The banks are fast , immediately after CNY
                        our \"guess\" in earlier thread is quite true, that int rates will drop, but this is fast. Bank 'solicit' enuff , not hungry for $ ?
