It depends on where you place the mirror.

Eg. we have mirror by our dining area. The meaning is the food will multiply. So from fengshui perspective is good.

It is not good to place a mirror when you walk in from main door as will reflect bad things from outside.

I used to put a mirror by the dining area of my mum’s house. BUT her mirror is actually facing the balcony door too. In the end we removed it as it was reflecting into neighbour’s house.

So it really depends on where you place it.

I have a mirror in the toilet too! :?

Anyone knows a good reference for placing of mirrors? My sister's bedroom opens out to face a mirror (there's a sink just below it). Not sure if that's good or not. 🙏

For bedrooms, you should place the mirror in the wardrobe. You know, those stick-on mirrors that you can look at when you open your wardrobe door. If it's not possible, try not to have a mirror that reflects your bed.

For toilets, usually they have mirrors what... :?

Not sure if I understand you correctly.

Usually in a bedroom setting where there is attached toilet and the toilet mirror is facing the bedroom (right through the door). The fengshui master will advise you to close your toilet door all the time.

That is what the fengshui master told me so....In a bedroom, it is strongly advisable to close the toilet door to avoid the negative energy in the toilet, at certain timeframe, to disturb the room.

And he said if possible, on the light at toilet at night .. but I never ( to save electricity 😛 ) forgot to ask him the reason also.... :?

Due to design of the house, the toilet is perpendicular to the 2nd & 3rd rooms. The wash basin is OUTSIDE the toilet. A mirror is placed just above it.

Not sure if this confuses even more 😉
