anyone have good English, Math & Science tution teacher for P6, my son did very badly on all the subjects.

How bad is \"very badly\"? Have you spoken to his school teachers? I think at this point in time, the best is to find a private tutor because most tuition centres out there are enrichment centres which may not be suitable to address the issues your son is facing. Private tutor can work with him on the areas he is weakest in.

He is last in his class and it not even the top class

          Sun_2010:

Registration slip had a problem. Met the FT and explained.

Had PTM - general feedback is the teachers are taking it slow, but term2 things are going to get more hectic. Most of the syllabus to be completed by SA1, the rest before June hols. Supp classes in Jun 1st week.

No sup class . Homework pretty nominal - one MT paper and 1 maths school review sheet which DS completed.

All set for the our short getaway. Except I am having a sore throat and stuffy nose. :nailbite:

My DS has tons of homework! 4 Maths paper, 5 chapter of MT revision paper, 1 eng paper, 3 chapters of science to read up and 1 science paper! what kind of holiday break is this! šŸ˜“

psle break? They would have all the time to relax after oct 3

              Hi parents,

My daughter is weak in Chinese comprehension even after enrolling her into tuition classes. I will like to find a Chinese Tutor who can teach 1 to 1 for her. Preferably can travel to the East. Please advice. Thanks

I have a friend who teaches Chinese 1to 1 and is good in teaching comprehension segment. As a Chinese Tutor myself, I can say that she is able to grasp the student's weaknesses rather well and target on those. You may like to contact her. Thanks and all the best for your dd

I am curious. Was this result unexpected, that is, previously had he been doing well? If so, what has changed?

If not, you are running out of time to help him. Whilst I think private tuition on a one-to-one basis is strongly advisable, and perhaps essential, you should also plan a proper timetable for revision and actively supervise him; after all, private tutors will, normally, only see your child for 1.5 hours a week per subject. Consultation with school teachers, together with attendance at remedial/supplementary classes, is a must.

                        Hi kiasufoo,

Can you pm her contact as well? My gal is weak in the comprehension element as well. Most of the marks I noted were lost in this area. Thanks!
