Need your advice and opinions. We will be registering this year P1. We are staying currently staying quite far from SAJ and we have no affiliation at all with the school. So, would be looking at Phase 2C. Is it possible to rent a place within 1-2km or less and use that rental address for registration? I am aware of the 30 months stay requirement. Would we stand a chance at all if we do that? I see that balloting is often required for past few years for those living 1-2km.

Could any parents comment on academic differences between st Gabriel’s and SAJ? We are looking to put our son in a school that values Christian principles.

Since you are intending to rent, why dont just move to a place within 1 km. At least your chances will be much higher.

2A2 is almost end, wondering how many parents are in. .

apparently this year they did enquire on the parents previous house colours. .My ex hub was in green and the admin lady mention will try to allocate the child also in green so to have the same values.

ya, same. .my boy would be going in SAJS in 2017 too. .under old boy phrase.

4th generation from the line to be in the same school. .

heard that the boys would be having CCA since pri 1 onwards and the school bus for the mon - thur and also just Friday CCA are different payment. .

was quite shock about the arrangement like this from the news gotta from my sis who is a PV.

120 for mon - thur (2 ways)
160 for CCA (2 days)

if we were to total up, that would be 280 just for school bus itself.

any other parents who have kids there and taking sch bus, can advice??
