Yes, called the sch this morning and they said there will be after school care (start from this year). This price is from $250-$260 from 01:30pm-07:00pm (Mon-Fri only)

My boy at P1 at Hong Wen School this yrs.
Yes, they will start in-house student care on 22/03/2010. Now is under renovation. Vendor by Pro-Teach Student Care.

hi, my gal is in p1 this year too. Can i ask how much allowance do mummies give to yr children? Is food ex in hongwen? The reason for asking is becos i’m shocked that my gal bought a blueberries bottle drink from the canteen today and it cost her $2. She used up all her money for just 1 bottle drink.

I give him $1.50 daily but has told him he is not allowed to spend his money on drinks and tidbits. We are thinking of going down to the canteen these days to find out the cost of the food as my son is still quite blur with money.

Hi dimension, I've 2 girls in HWS, P2 & P4. My elder one went thru' phase 2C balloting (within 2km) to get a place, I remembered there were 4 rejected applications. My elder one feels the study stress only this year when she is in P4 with more homework & tests. Overall, they like the school very much.

wondering now in the new location is it easier or harder to get in?

Personally I feel that the old location at Lavendar is more accessible than the current one. I had my primary education there and I always took a bus (opp. the school) home. Although there is MRT (Boon Keng) and bus (no. 21), both are not very near to the school. I have tried walking from the MRT to the school and almost gave up. Luckily my husband drives my son to school in the morning and he takes a school bus back.
