Anyone can share how the talk by the principal went today? We had to forgo the open house as SMOPS ended after 1pm for ds! Thanks.

We rushed over to nus high but the tickets for the talk are all given out.

By the time we left HCI, it was drizzling with traffic building up towards NUSH. Couldn't get tickets but was allowed in after the talk started and there were vacancies. New P is very good; really understands the mindset and concerns of parents. I feel that she hit all the right notes.
Spoke to a few students manning the booths. There were a few ex-geppers who chose NUSH despite having CO from other top notched schs. So I tried to be cheeky and asked them why?
I'm still unsure how keen ds is on this sch but as a parent, I have no qualms if he is to join. That's what I can say. Overall a very good experience. -

Without getting into details, I summarised what was shared as liking the pedagogy of the sch which is unique. I spoke to 4 Y1 ex-geppers (don't want to say which sch coz must respect privacy) as they were manning the booth.

To me, how the msg was communicate is as impt as what the msg was. Those were 4 earnest kids.
