As of now I do find it abit exaggerated…but don’t know what I will think when comes my turn…

Hope21:
The family rent :moneyflies: my property because it's walking distance to school. They want to buy time.
Oh then I can be hopeful of renting out my house easily
since I live across a super duper popular primary school
balloting every year
My kids are not studying in that primary school
Issue is I only have one house, can't rent it out
for own stay only

SpartanMum:
Quitting job, taking no pay leave, renting a home nearby, engaging private tutors for intensive coaching...all these are only possible for the privileged. Illustrates why students will never be on a level playing field.
Actually, I think the truely truely wealthy ones won't care much about psle or even A level
Know of a classmate. Real life 富二代
so grades aren't important at all. Can pick any school in the world, even if not ivy league
but still can easily join any reasonably reputable high school or Uni
Just a matter of want or don't want and where /when to go
It is commoners like us who have to follow the system. -
MrsKiasu:
Thanks to this thread for the early warning. Meaning if I want to do something I better do it in these 2 years. 考状元呀 :faint:
Depends on your dd's school schedule in upper primary. Not necessarily must drop everything lah
Mine staying back in school thrice a week this semester. So that itself is time commitment liao
If still go for high time commitment stuff like preparing for piano exam, will affect rest time.
Cannot lah. I forbid delaying bedtime. So I only allow playing piano leisurely. At least own time own target. Need to have sufficient rest time. Very important in my opinion. -

Take it as a pushing myself factor also.. -
randwick:
mine here has 5 items 2moro afternoon...confirmed KO. 2day, practised 5 items. 1.6km run should be one of the days next week during curriculum time. has problems doing the standing broad jump...has gone out with hubby to practise her run. my work all shelved :frustrated:
Raining here now. Hopefully no rain later and not so hot also. Hope can get the 1.6km run over and done with today. -
Is Napfa important? Can just go like that, no training

Not important. No training needed. No need to report back even if fail and re-fail. -
My DD told that half of her class failed in standing board jump. Will there b any retest? Tomorrow they got 1.4km run. Donno how will it go

-
I just tell my children to try their best for this NAPFA test. To me it doesn't matter if they came in 1st or failed since this is not an exam subject. Our children are already very stressed so no point adding more stress to them
