Sports CCA will likely to be on 2 days till 6 pm and those who take up Electives and Enrichments will fill up most of the other empty time slots during the week.Layla:
MAy I know the school hours? We live in the east

school starts at 7:40am

Just received an email from NUSH on something called the hybrid flipped classroom methodology(FCM). Could someone whose kid enrolled in this programme PM me? I've some clarifications and prefer to make them privately. Thanks.
Hi, flip classroom is a technique where the students study the topic by themselves and then teach their peers, while the teacher is on hand to help where needed, as opposed to the traditional classroom setting where the teacher teaches and the student listens. For nushigh, the students are split into groups and each group studies a different topic. the groups prepare a presentation each and use that to teach the rest of the class their assigned topic. The teacher makes clarifications where the presentations are not clear, incomplete, or inaccurate. So everyone learns the entire topic in the end. Alternatively, during class time groups may complete a worksheet Using the notes given, before the teacher teaches the topic in class. The teacher will be there to guide and answer questions where the need arises. -

Just for info, the pre-requisites for most courses in NUS require only a min CAP of 2.0 from NUSH Diploma.LoveIsEverything:
B is 3.5 CAP. So far I know there are students who are around 3.0 (B-) CAP and they are still promoted to the next year. Though, I understand they attend remedial classes for subjects they are weak in. The minimum CAP for year 1 to get promoted to year 2 is 2.5 CAP. You can download a pdf on this at
http://www.nushigh.edu.sg/qql/slot/u186 ... .01.02.pdf
Refer to the last 2 pages.

Yes, but that would not guarantee you an acceptance from them
