      Hi

does anyone here know on what criteria does a school short list their PV applicants?

is it priority will be given to those that can volunteer during weekdays instead of ad-hoc basis?

anybody here ever rejected by school after sending their PV application form?

can i apply PV for more than one schools?
      hi :welcome: to KSP

Schools have full autonomy in PV. Thus, different schools have different practise of how parents are selected, the duties, etc etc

I had been rejected by a school, luckily the rejection was quite fast and allowed me to try another school.

Yes, you can apply PV for more than 1 school. Some parents here did PV for 2 schools.

Yup, you can do pv in 20 schools also. But when you register it's only one school at a time. For parents in multiple pv, they could go with the idea to find out which school is more suitable for their child - only via pv then you can see what's going on inside.

like I said earlier, PV is administered by individual school separately. You would need to apply for PV at each school separately if you intend to do PV at more than 1 school.

                Rinoa538,

You can do PV in 2 or even 3 schools to find out more about the environment, culture and teachers…but ultimately you can only register in 1 school.
A friend of mine did PV in Pei Hwa and RGPS…in the end she chose Pei Hwa bcos it’s nearer home…P1/2 are in the afternoon for both schools.

                  Hi,

Anyone of you have girls born in 2005 and have registered to do parent volunteer work? Have the school call you up for PV yet?

                    hi KS Mommy

                    have you been selected?

Duties for 2005 batch would probably start in Jun\Jul this year. Right now, the 2004 batch is still busy clocking up the required hrs.
