Not used to the idea of not having a sofa.

I don't have a coffee table though. Decided not to have it because of kiddos when they were younger. So that we have space in the living room for them to play their toys and roll around. šŸ˜‚ Always thought that we will get a coffee table and a rug later on when they are older but over time, we've gotten used to having that space so never did get the coffee table.

          Watch tv in bedroom?
If tv in living room then where you place tv?

My sofa is for watching tv so have to position tv at a comfortable angle and distance then can nua on sofa for hours for tv marathon. Couch potato speaking šŸ˜‚

There is tv in the living room and bedroom.
When am watching tv prog in bedroom, am on the bed.
When am watching tv prog in living room, either I sit on the flr or on a little stool.

Sofa is for kids to sit when playing games. The leather on the sofa has given way. I hardly sit on the sofa.

I sit at my working table with PC...without the sofa, living area will be spacious and easy to maintain. Worse case, get a few big cushions. But first, get hubby to agree to help me dispose it first.

She would be on her bed; surfing on her iPad. :preen:[/quote]
Buds, give me cakes..I won. Janet use her desk

I woud be quite happy without a sofa, but my husband doesn't like sitting on the floor. Also, he pointed out that some friends and elderly relatives would find it difficult if we ask them to sit on the floor.

We cannot do away with sofa as it serves as day bed too. We did away with coffee table when we moved in here. I used to work at the coffee table with the Tv switched on.

We have a rug which I roll out during CNY only due to ah boy likes to lie down on the rug, bad for his nose.

The boys have given up their bed side tables which I paid close to $600 to $700 each then from Scanteak, so I put them at the two ends of the sofa.
