i will still allow her to bring correction tape into exam hall...psle is not the time to feel insecure. bring 3 2B pencils, 3 blue pens, good soft eraser, ruler. spare calculator in the bag...all put in a clear holder.

My kids are too reliant on correction tape... almost one per week!!! At least better than correction fluid, they can write over it immediately.

correction fluid (liquid paper during our time) is something our kids never seen. but correction tape is dangerous to use. when papers are stacked tightly for 2-3 months before they are marked, chances are papers will be stuck together.

Else if they write wrongly and striked off, can be quite messy also.

it is advisable to cancel neatly.
psle will finish in early oct. then papers will be stacked tightly until mid oct for marking. not a good idea to use correction tape. son's teachers have also advised students not to use correction tape...he is sitting for O levels.

there are a few mums also having kids sitting for PSLE and O levels this year. my son has gone through a major exam once, so he is more mature to think and study on his own...just have to monitor him - don't slack and don't get burnt out before that. next monday O levels for Chinese.
