have not handwashed clothes for a long time...these few nights, my back really ached. -

Do you have a friend or relative living nearby? Or a paid laundromat? I would choose those options over handwashing!

Just leave them in the laundry basket and wash when the machine arrives. Am sure the machine can handle a few days of accumulated clothes.

I'm afraid the clothes will make the kitchen smell if I don't wash. It so happened I dumped the towels into WM the day it broke down...so had to wash them since they were soaking wet. -

Janet's machine died with her laundry in soak mode.. :scared: -
Thought she already washed those. But beyond those just leave them be. Don’t wet or soak them. Should be ok. Afterall it is just another day only.

I know what you mean!
My previous WM died during final rinse (before spin). I hand washed the full load too. My new / current one is also a Samsung.
