      Hi all,

My boy will be in P1 in 2018 and I am currently shortlisting the school around Jurong West St. 74 to 81. And Westwood is one of the shortlist. Or any other school to recommend?

Hi, is anyone staying at JW ST 25 and has kids taking the school bus to Westwood Pri? What time do they pick up/drop off your kids? I am considering between some schools but I googled and is unable to get my answer. Would appreciate if anyone can share. Thanks!

Any parents here can share for the parent volunteer in WWPS, after submission of the form, do they still need to select you for interview before being able to perform pv for the school? Would appreciate most if any parents here can also share if doing pv for WWPS will stand a higher chance to get into the school? I stay within 1km from the school and my son is enrolling into P1 in year 2020.

              :thankyou:

Hi all. Keen to know as well.

And appreciate your experiences and insights with WWPS too. Will be P1 Mom by 2020.

I’m planning to enrol my first born to this. Can anyone kindly provide some feedback? Couldn’t find any updated one. How’s is the teachers, homework, teaching methodology. Not sure what to take note. First time

Westwood Primary was started in 2012, and has required balloting in Phase 2C since, consistently for <1km since 2017.
In 2021, the Phase 2C balloting was 99 applicants for 40 places!
In 2020, there was mild balloting in Phase 2A2 for parents of PR kids staying < 1km away.

Your best bet would be Phase 2B which has no balloting at all, yet.

I cannot comment on the teachers there... just that the take up rate in Phase 1 is consistently high and was 86 last year. This shows there is confidence in the school.

Thank you for the input. I only qualify for 2C. Didn't see from this angle that Phase 1 take up rate high means something. Thank You! 🙂
