My girl is in P4, there is this girl in her class who likes to "call" my girl "siow" whenever she walks near my DD. And she likes to gossip and drag my DD’s friend away when my DD is talking to her friend.

I told my DD to keep her cool and ignore her but at times she gets very upset abt it. Shld I inform her former teacher abt it? Any advise?

Oh Yes definitely! I strongly advise u to inform the teacher, especially if this has been going on for a while. Tell the teacher how upset and affected yr grl is. Mine is in p4 too and was very troubled last yr when someone in her class passed a remark each time she walked pass my dd. My husband emailed the teacher and she handled the matter very tactfully. The girl didnt even know who complained against her. Anyway she didnt bother my dd after that and is no more in the same class.
Its quite common for kids to pick up words they hear and throw it at others with out knowing the true meaning, perhaps they think its cool to use such words ...... Dont hesitate, its weekend... good time to email the teacher 😎

Many thanks Moonee for advise. I spoke to my DD abt it but she ‘beg’ me not to email her teacher. Anyway, I will monitor the situation closely…

My girl kept singing 'Together' (Annie) since she came back from school early this week. Anyone with girls having the same phenomeon? Haha...

Edit: It should be 'Tomorrow', not Together

Have not heard from you for quite a while.

No, my girl didn't sing any song last few days.

Mine not singing Together. She singing 'Tomorrow' also from the musical Annie. In the shower, when eating, while reading. Insists that we download the song into her ipod.

Think the school choir is practising for some competition.

My dd kept hogging the home pc to watch Tomorrow on youtube everynite so I downloaded it to my mobile phone so that she can free up the PC to let me play my games lol... Now my whole mind also keep ringing that \"Tomorrow Tomorrow\" tune after hearing dd sing it everyday lol..
