Janet, I just checked - 8 Aug - ND celebrations so it's 1/2 day, 9 n 10 Aug - school holidays, so only study on thu n fri.janet88:

School holidays mean no need to wake up so early!!! -
For me, the only impact of school holidays is the not having to wake so early. My younger girl is so busy that I’m not sure if I see more of her when it’s school term or holidays! She’s already lined up a full programme for the 2-4 July weekend including a sleepover at a friend’s house, and she’ll be very busy in the run up to N Day because she’s involved in the school celebration. I think I’ll mandate a "family" day on 9 Aug!

Slmkhoo, I agree with you. My DS (same age as your DD2) is always so busy that I hardly see him at home. So I also have to 'make an appointment' with him.
DD will be going to Uni soon so I won't get to see her too.

I was but I took a 'Gap'
year last year becos of my 2 kids' major exams.
Now finding it difficult to go back to work - so shiok to be SAHM n not easy to find jobs at my age (even with low pay). -

Got to keep looking and something will turn up. But it may take time, and may not be so ideal. Still, something is better than nothing - I couldn't face sitting at home all day when the kids were out (and I don't watch serials).slmkhoo:
