food smell I can live with. it’s cigarette smoke I detest. One just make me feel hungry; the other one make me feel my life shortening with each breath I take.

              \"How To Kill A Roach\"

              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_cockroach_wasp

\"With its escape reflex disabled, the stung roach will simply rest in the burrow as the wasp's egg hatches after about three days. The hatched larva lives and feeds for 4–5 days on the roach, then chews its way into its abdomen and proceeds to live as an endoparasitoid. Over a period of eight days, the wasp larva consumes the roach's internal organs in an order which guarantees that the roach will stay alive, at least until the larva enters the pupal stage and forms a cocoon inside the roach's body. \"

Anyone knows an effective way to kill many cockroaches in kitchen? My place has lots of cockroaches after we rented it out…Thinking of getting roach fogger (bug bomb). But I could not find it…Anyone knows where I can get it? TIA

My own kitchen had a lot of those very small cockroaches at one stage. They thrived (and reproduced) without us knowing, until a point when they come out in the day to look for food, i think. It was shocking then, and we found that my mother had left a lot of dry food stuff unsealed around, so it was a feast for the roaches.

It was a painstaking period, where I bought those roach killers from NTUC (in a pack of 6) where you put them on the floor, wall or cupboard. After a week or two, a number of them really started dying.

I accelerated the process by hunting them at night and opening the drawers (they don't like light).

It took months before I declared the kitchen roach-free.

Following…I went to see my place today. Looks ok but I better buy and place it at kitchen on and off for prevention.

For tiny insects, I grab anything available to cover it; no eye see.
