      Hi, Littlefren123,

Yes. No choice is one of the unfair regulation for employer.

I will prefer they set a time frame like prorate the airticket money against how long they have work for us.

        Hello Everyone ,

May I clarify and confirm , if my helper want to go back home earlier than contract period, i will still be responsible to pay for her air ticket ?

It' so unfair to me. 😓
hold back part of the last pay to pro rate the airticket cost ? subject to mutual agreement

You cannot do so! They may go report against you! If this maid is ex-SG or have off days, her friends will advise her what to do if employer did not pay their salary fully. The best to do is send her to the capital near her hometown. Buy in advance for those budget flight like airasia where it will be much cheaper, like around $60 to their country's capital.

Take note, maid must leave SG then employer is not liable. If maid do not board the plane, we are still liable. So to get them board the plane, we have to pay for CISCO guard to escort them to board the plane.

                    Hi there,

I am releasing my Filipino maid of 8 yrs in Sep. Anyone interested can PM me. Reason for releasing is that my kids are big and we don’t need her anymore. You can interview her, if u are interested.

                    Thks Rds

contract would say very clearly that employer is responsible for repatriating the maid - and the last one I saw (years back) is that there is even a place pre-determined (if it says Semarang, employer cannot buy ticket to Jakarta/Batam and say all is ok).

                        Hi.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.

I have recently stopped work to spend more time with my son.

My Indonesian helper is available for transfer to another employer anytime.

Aged 38 year old, she has worked in Singapore for about 8 years.
She is good with household chores and very meticulous and responsible.
She needs to return to Indonesia in Dec 16 to attend to personal matters. Any employer who can accommodate her leave plan and is keen to interview her, pls PM me.
