Based on historical data for past few years, chances for SC>1km is indeed nil. Perhaps you can check with the school about their waiting list since there might be vacancies due to transfers or relocation after the P1 registration exercise is over.

There's no official open house. Perhaps you can visit the school during their annual Jog-A-Walk and Family Day (with food/game stalls) with your child to get a feel of the environment. The event was held in April this year. You can also view pictures of school activities on the fb page of the school's Parent Link group (which is quite active in organising activities for parents and students).

The school has a good mix of students so a child will have ample opportunities to interact with and learn from children of different ethnic groups and backgrounds.

Once they get into P3, the amount of homework increase. I remembered DS when reach P6 the FT said no need to attend any more tuition classes, the school would prepare you with tons of work for the PSLE. :shock: :shock:
